Leo
(Born Between: August 10 – September 15)
The New Moon takes place in your sign, Leo, and your energy levels are on par. You are not able to sit still and can release a lot of emotional energy constructively, although you may be feeling quite sensitive with strong instincts. This mostly affects those born in the latter part of Leo, whilst the early Leos are still affected by the South Node, which is at 11 degrees and in a quincunx aspect to Pluto, rather than a trine, which is more easy-flowing. This quincunx for those born in the earlier degrees proves to be awkward and disruptive, especially when it comes to power struggles or overdoing things in general. Watch out for burning yourself out and getting frustrated.
Virgo
(Born Between: September 15 – October 30)
The New Moon in Leo takes place in your 13th house, Virgo, whilst Mercury transits your sign. This is a fresh start for you to flex your mind and heart into the higher realms of consciousness, and you are on form when it comes to your instincts. You may have a lot of conversations going on in your head during this New Moon cycle, whilst Mercury in your sign is under a lot of pressure to get to grips with old wounds from the past. At present, it's like you are your own counsellor, although it may serve you better to talk things out with someone you can trust. This allows you to observe your conversations externally, so that you can grasp the overall picture.
Libra
(Born Between: October 31 – November 22)
The New Moon takes place in your 12th house of executive authority, whilst Venus, your ruling planet, transits your 13th house of higher consciousness and isolation. Maybe you are getting your head around changes, either in your work or in your status. Work ethics are strongly apparent and, although you may be re-evaluating what makes you happy, it does seem that calculations are needed. Maybe monetary. But overall, it will involve how you feel about yourself, your self-worth and what triggers old wounds, especially those around abandonment or rejection issues. Things may seem a bit bleak at the moment, but this is just a feeling, something that has been lingering for a long time.
Scorpio
(Born Between: November 23 – November 29)
The New Moon takes place in your 11th house of adventure and ventures in general. Core wounds around relationships or money have you under enormous pressure, and this may also affect those close to you. Power struggles may also be an issue, since obsessive tendencies are likely to come to the fore. On one hand, you have ingenious insights into resolution, but on the other, you doubt your own thoughts. Maybe it's all about timing or opportunistic moments, but the pressure is on anyway for you to find some peace within any chaotic situations you may find yourself in during this New Moon cycle.
Ophiuchus
(Born Between: November 30 – December 17)
The New Moon takes place in your 10th house, in which your sign rules. On one hand, you may feel inclined to stick with the familiar, or feel stuck with certain obligations or loyalties. On the other, you are being asked to break out and explore new ground. Maybe this new ground involves technology, or a shift in your way of thinking. Either way, you may feel under pressure.
There is also a possibility that you are witnessing a situation that you yourself have experienced and feel the need to aid it, since you are a natural healer/doctor. Sometimes we need to give ourselves space for our own growth or healing. Bear this in mind during this New Moon cycle.
Sagittarius
(Born Between: December 18 – January 18)
The New Moon takes place in your 9th house of endings and exposure, Sagittarius, whilst the Black Moon Lilith and Juno are transiting your sign. There is a sense of irritability with the energies coming in, and you may feel quite eruptive at times, feeling like you can't put up with things any longer. Especially if it has to do with those that you have been loyal to, but who in return are taking you for granted.
However, taking some time out for yourself will be needed, as you too, Sagittarius, may need some healing when it comes to old woundings. Taking time out will help you to strategise or recognise what it is that is niggling at you.
Capricorn
(Born Between: January 19 – February 15)
The New Moon takes place in your 8th house of partners or commitments, Capricorn. You have been under pressure for quite some time, and now the pressure is on to face up to the reality of your situation. There could be some issues coming up around health or wounds from childhood that need to be addressed.
Whatever the case, there is definitely something you need to get your head around, but there is a block on you being able to do this. Make sure that you give yourself the space to sort out what it is that ails you. As they say, “a stitch in time saves nine.” It is important that you lay down your worldly burdens and take heed of your physical health.
Aquarius
(Born Between: February 16 – March 11)
The New Moon takes place in your 7th house of service and others, Aquarius. The North Node has been transiting your sign for a little while now, creating shifts in your perspective and maybe even within your relationships. Maybe there is something that you are not quite seeing at the moment. Something that is of blurred lines.
The universe has been pushing you outside of your comfort zone for some time now, but the North Node is about to leave your sign soon, so you are coming to the end of a cycle. You may not even recognise yourself anymore once this cycle completes, because all that you thought was important for your security or foundation is shifting. This may also be regarding your ethics or traditions.
Pisces
(Born Between: March 12 – April 18)
The New Moon takes place in your 6th house, Pisces. Although things may seem obscure right now, you are being pressured to let go of all that holds you back from seeing or accepting the bigger picture. You recognise what you need for happiness and security, and this could be to do with either your own health or the health of someone close.
Whether this is physical or psychological, a point has been reached where things have got to change. Maybe these changes are beyond your control. Keeping a journal will help you to release any confusing thoughts and give you the ability to make sense of them at a later date.
Aries
(Born Between: April 19 – May 14)
The New Moon takes place in your 5th house of emotions and spiritual values, Aries. Maybe something is coming to an end or has ended around either work or travel. This could be to do with a physical illness or a lack of finances. For some, it could be that you have had enough and want more for yourself, but no matter how hard you try, it seems to be out of your control.
The universe is asking you to concentrate on your own health, whether mental or physical. Or to speak up and state your circumstances or how you really feel. This is not easy for you, since you are a warrior, and warriors don't give in to anything that might make them seem weak. This is not weakness, Aries; it is human nature.
Taurus
(Born Between: May 14 – June 20)
The New Moon takes place in your 4th house of inventiveness and siblings, Taurus. Maybe you feel like you are a little bit all over the place, which is leaving you under pressure, not knowing which way to turn right now. There isn't any logic to your current situation or circumstances that is easily grasped.
It is a time where you just need to ride the waves, with faith that you will land exactly where you need to be. This isn't easy for you, since you like routine, and right now there isn't any consistency for you to feel safe or grounded. Having faith in the unknown isn't your strong point, but it is what the universe is urging you to do. Deep breathing and grounding techniques may be just the tonic you need.
Gemini
(Born Between: June 21 – July 19)
The New Moon takes place in your 3rd house of abundance and community, Gemini. Right now, things may seem pretty bleak, or you are just not your usual bubbly self. Maybe you are trying to make your mark within your work or career. Maybe you are fed up with the path you are on in that respect and are yearning for an opportunity to come your way, something you can get your teeth into and flex your mind.
You need mental stimulation, Gemini; the same old, same old just won't do. Also, there seem to be some issues around love and romance. Maybe you are still smarting from a relationship break-up, or maybe you are struggling with feelings of abandonment or neglect from the past. Whatever the case, just be kind to yourself.
Cancer
(Born Between: July 20 – August 10)
The New Moon takes place in your 2nd house of assertion and self-worth, Cancer. Jupiter transiting your sign of late has given you a boost of energy that has been quite beneficial, although some pressure has been felt. During this New Moon cycle, you are flowing with ease. Actually, you are one of the few signs that are.
At present, you are enjoying routine and are benefitting from making plans for your long-term goals, with your unique skill of strategy. You are not one to walk in a straight line and are able to sidestep your way through complicated situations or feelings. Whereas usually you do this under pressure to keep yourself safe, you are now able to do this in a more relaxed way. Keep up the good work.
